KLM's European Business Class was revamped in early 2011, replacing the former Europe Select product. KLM and KLM City Hopper now block off the centre seat in each row of three in the front cabin.
Passengers also benefit from upgraded catering, with menus changed weekly. Meals will now be served on china similar to that used on KLM’s long-haul flights.
The airline’s Boeing 737 fleet will also be progressively fitted with sockets to charge electrical appliances in the business cabin.
At the airport, business passengers will benefit from premium check-in facilities, extra baggage allowance, lounge access and priority boarding and baggage delivery.
Seats have an average pitch of 33 inches (84cm), a width of 17.5 inches (44cm) and five-inch (13cm) recline. On the Fokker 100s and Fokker 70s, seats are in a 2-3 layout with a seat pitch of 31 inches (79cm), a width of 17 inches (43cm) and a recline of five inches (13cm).
